Don't worry though, our games list has all the important details you need, including the recommended age for each game.
What is Virtual Reality?
Virtual Reality (VR) is a technology that allows users to immerse themselves in a simulated environment through the use of a headset or goggles. This experience is created by computer-generated visuals and sounds that give the user the sensation of being in a different place or world. VR can be used for entertainment, training, education, and even therapy, providing a truly immersive and interactive experience for the user.
Your experience with us focuses on game play. It's taking games to the next level, don't just play the game - be in the game!
What is Mixed Reality?
It's like when the virtual reality world meets the real world in a cool mashup. Picture this - there are cameras on the front of the headset that let you see your surroundings in some games, while the virtual world adds an extra layer of fun. Imagine shooting furry aliens that pop up from holes in our reality - it's a whole new level of excitement!
Are Spectators allowed?
Certainly, spectators are welcome at our events. Each player is permitted to have up to three spectators accompanying them. For children aged 7-9, it is mandatory to have a spectator present during the booking process to ensure proper supervision at all times. As for watching the gameplay, we provide seating next to the participants with a tablet for every headset. This allows spectators to observe the players in action and view the game from their perspective. Please note that the quality of the internet connection may vary depending on the site, but we are equipped with a mobile wifi unit to ensure a stable connection at all venues.
Pre - Arrival
Before you join us for some fun, make sure you've filled out our waiver form. It's super important for all players to have this done, without they cannot play. Any participants under 18 years old must have an adult complete the waiver on their behalf.
You can find the link in your confirmation email or on our Waiver Page.
Also, dress for comfort! Leave the high heels, flip flops, and wellies at home. Trainer-style shoes are best.
Check - In
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before we start, so we can smoothly transition between groups. When you get here, check in with our friendly host who will confirm your booking and waivers. Once you're all checked in, you'll be assigned your own Play Zone for the session. Feel free to make yourself at home, we also have seats for any spectators.
Just remember to keep your personal belongings in your designated area. And please, keep the VR Play Grid clear of any items for safety reasons.
We also kindly ask that you don't touch your equipment until you have had your 'short' briefing and ready for game play.
Boarding
Boarding for your VR experience is scheduled to begin promptly at the time indicated on your booking confirmation. During this process, a concise safety briefing will be provided, along with an overview of the VR headset and controllers. Our goal is to ensure a smooth transition into the virtual world without unnecessary delays.
Once this is done you are free to begin playing and explore the virtual world. Before playing make sure your controllers are strapped to your wrists and your headset is securely on.
We will keep you regularly updated on your journey duration so far and will inform you when your session has ended.
We are here to help every step of the way, we are always on hand to assist. So if you need us for any reason during your session simply raise your hand and we will be right over to help.
What if I need help during the session?
If you ever need a hand while you're playing, don't worry - we've got you covered! There's always a friendly host around. Each headset is linked to a tablet so we can view exactly what you are seeing and guide you through any issues. And remember, please don't take off the headset by yourself - we're here to make sure you have a smooth and fun experience!
Will I loose balance or fall over?
So, you might be wondering if you'll lose your balance or take a tumble while playing. Don't worry, it's totally normal to have that concern! Just a heads up, all games have the power to mess with your coordination and make you a bit unaware of your surroundings. But no need to stress! The game guide has got your back with all the info you need. Plus, the headset comes with zoned boundaries that help keep you in check. If you accidentally wander outside the zone, the game will pause and the headset cameras will kick in to keep you safe and show you where you are.
Can I eat and/or drink whilst playing?
Please note that NO food and/or drinks are to be consumed by participants whilst they are using the VR headset, this is to ensure a safe place to play and to reduce the risk of damage to equipment. Should you require a refreshment during your session we then request that you make it known to your host that you wish to pause game play. Just raise your hand and one of our hosts will be with you.
We want to make sure you have a great time, so don't hesitate to take a break if you need to refuel. Thanks for your understanding!
